Davenport, Iowa (AP) — A man in Davenport was charged with being shot dead on a Labor Day weekend.
Demarco Darrell Gray Jr., 27, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with one murder and a felony in possession of a firearm.Quad City Times report..
Davenport police responded to a call for fire on Sunday afternoon and found Jeremiah Earl Martinez Brown, 25, in East Moline, Illinois, injured.
He was taken to Davenport Hospital, where he died.
Gray is not currently detained in Scott County Jail.
