(((WTRF) — Country music legend Reba McEntire was rescued from a building in Oklahoma after the stairs collapsed on Tuesday.
according to Video posted on Twitter McEntire was helped by a firefighter on a ladder through a window on the second floor by KTEN reporter Lisanne Anderson. Anderson called it “a close call to @reba.”
KXII reported The 66-year-old McEntire was rescued from a window on the second floor after a staircase collapsed while observing a historic building in Atoka, Oklahoma.
Anderson tweeted that McEntire and her boyfriend Rex Linn were in a group of seven. No one was seriously injured.
KXII reported that McEntire was touring the building for future projects. She is reportedly checked by paramedics on the scene.
Travis Mullins, the city’s head of emergency management, confirmed to KXII that the collapsed staircase was between the second and third floors. He said it fell into the stairwell between the first and second floors, leaving people trapped anywhere in the building at the time of the collapse.
