Rockford, Illinois (WTVO) —Police arrested 49-year-old Clarence Goston on Sunday on suspicion of burglary and battery accident.
According to Rockford police, police officers were called to 1000 blocks on S.6th Street at 1:55 pm due to a reported burglary. Victims told police that a suspect identified as Goston had fled the scene in a van.
According to police, police officers were able to locate him after a while and detain him.
Goston was charged with trespassing, burglary of criminals, and batteries.
He was imprisoned in Winnebago County Prison.
