Three adults hospitalized after apparent drug overdose in Woodlearn, baby in car – CBS Chicago



Chicago (CBS) — Two men and a woman were taken to the hospital on Thursday morning. When an adult had a five-month-old baby in his car, he was clearly found to be unresponsive in Westwood Lawn’s car due to drug overdose.

Police said two men, 22 and 23, a 21-year-old woman, and a five-month-old boy were unresponsive in a 500-block vehicle on East 67th Avenue at around 11:15 am. It turned out.

According to police, both men were given NARCAN, an antidote to opioid overdose. The older man was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in crisis, but the younger man refused further treatment.

The woman was also taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in crisis.

Police said the baby was taken to Kammer Children’s Hospital for observation. A fire department spokesman said the baby was expected to be healthy and was taken to the hospital only as a precautionary measure.

Weapons were also recovered on-site.
