Chicago (CBS) — The serious threat on Monday night is coming in two waves.

According to CBS2 meteorologist Mary Kay Kleist, the first meteorologist travels from 4 pm to 4 pm and the second meteorologist travels from 4 pm to 8 pm.

So far, clouds and stable rain have continued to control the atmosphere. However, active upper waves travel over the next few hours, resulting in strong lift and gusts of southerly winds.
