Rockford, Illinois (WTVO) – A garbage truck ignited in Rockford before 12:30 pm on Tuesday.
Rockford police and fire departments were called Broadway on the 15th, where they found a truck under the railroad tracks.
Police said the driver could get off and was okay.
Union Pacific-owned trucks are closed. Police say they suffered damage. A bridge inspector was called.
Police will advise drivers to find another route until they are notified later.
