Chicago (AP) — Police said one person was killed and four were injured in a drive-by shooting early Sunday on the north side of Chicago.
Police officers were called in at around 3:45 am for reports that someone in a dark car had fired in the city’s Wicker Park district.
A 32-year-old man suffered a deadly gunshot wound in his chest and was later sentenced to death in a Chicago hospital. The injured included a 30-year-old man, a 22-year-old woman, and two 25-year-old women.
No arrests have been made. Officials said the shooting was under investigation.
