Reduced Tuition Program Exhibited at Millikin Open House | Top Story

Decatur, Illinois (WAND)-A Millikin University open house is planned for early November to showcase reduced tuition plans for local students.

Officials said the Macon Promise Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, November 3rd, from 6pm to 8pm. It will be held on the ground floor of University Commons on the Millikin Campus.

At the Open House, students can meet with faculty and staff to learn more about the university, its academic programs, and reduced tuition fees for Macon Promise.

Under the program, students pay a discounted annual undergraduate tuition of $ 26,000. This is a 33% discount from the current Millikin tuition and will be locked in for 4 years.

Students can receive more scholarships and assistance from Millikin based on the Admissions Application and the Free Federal Student Assistance Application (FAFSA).

Eligible students include students who live in Macon County, students who transfer from Richland Community College, and students who have previously attended or are currently attending a high school in Macon County. This includes Central A & M High School and Cerro Gordo High School.

  • Warrensburg-Latham High School
  • Homeschooling students in Macon County
