Jacksonville, Florida (AP) Jacksonville Jaguars has ruled out starting a cornerback Shakir Griffin against Atlanta on Sunday.
Griffin deals with concussion.
Urban Meyer said Friday that James Robinson (heels / knees) and Tyson Campbell (shoulders), a rookie cornerback, had a good running back. He added that Center Brandon Linder and tight-end James O’Shaughness are expected to be rejuvenated from the injured list and play.
Linder hasn’t played since he sprained his knees and ankles in the fifth week. O’Shaughnessy has been sent off since his ankle was injured in the second week.
Without Griffin, Tre Hahndon or Chris Claybrooks are expected to start on the other side of Campbell. Hahndon has been inactive for the past three weeks.
