Illinois (Wand)-Some Central Illinois health agencies closed their clinics on Thursday due to continued snowfall.
Changes include the following, as roads continue to be endangered by winter weather.
Curl health
Carle Health announced on Thursday, February 3rd that all Champaign Urbana and surrounding clinics will be fully transitioned to virtual care. , Effingham, Taxcola, Danville.
Convenience care locations will also be closed on Thursday. Patients should consider whether they can safely move to convenience care plus locations in Urbana, Matoon, and Danville.
The COVID-19 drive-through test sites in Champaign, Matoon and Danville will remain closed.
Several scheduled procedures and surgery will continue in the field to support people with the most important care needs. Affected patients are contacted to confirm their ongoing appointments. Karl Emergency Medical Services are always available and open.
Karl said the general public is encouraged to stay indoors and as far away from the road as possible during winter weather. Before a person leaves, they should make sure their car has a full petrol tank and is packed with gokits. The kit should include at least a battery jumper cable, a flashlight, a blanket, and a fully charged cell phone.

Springfield Clinic
Springfield The clinic has announced that some locations will have their business hours adjusted or will be closed on Thursday, February 3rd. VA Illiana will close the community-based outpatient clinic from 2:00 pm on Wednesday and until Thursday, February 3, to ensure that veterans are safe in bad weather.
Closed locations include Bloomington VA Clinic, Bob Michel Veterans Department Peoria Outpatient Clinic (including pharmacy services), Decatur VA Clinic, Matoon VA Clinic, and Springfield VA Clinic.
Veterans, military personnel, members of the National Guard and Reserves, and those who support them, can assist in the crisis by calling the Veterans Crisis Line. You can access it by dialing (800) 273-8255 and pressing 1 for veterans.
