A military plane crashed near Fort Worth, injuring at least two people

Lake Worth, Texas-A military plane crashed on the outskirts of northern Texas on Sunday morning, injuring at least two people and damaging several structures.

It happened around 11:30 am in the neighborhood just outside Fort Worth.

First responders said they were treating a few people, but the extent of their injuries was not immediately apparent.

Two homes were severely damaged, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department.

Lake Worth is a city of about 4,500 people northwest of Fort Worth.

WFAA-TV The plane crashed in the backyard of the house, reporting that no one on the ground was injured.

It also powered approximately 1,300 customers in the region.
