Chicago (WLS)-A three-year-old boy was shot dead in a house in the Calmette Heights district of the city on Saturday morning, according to the Chicago Police Department.
Police said it happened at 9300 blocks in South Escanaba around 10:45 am
I saw a detective going in and out of the house and putting a crime tape on it.
According to police, the child was taken to Trinity Hospital and then in good condition to Kammer Children’s Hospital.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated by detectives in Area 2.
No one has been detained.
