New York (AP) — Former CBS News President Susan Zilinsky has set up a studio for scriptless programming, with two 9.11-related documentaries debuting in the next two days.
See It Now Studios wants the name See It Now Studios to convey a sense of urgency to younger viewers, reminiscent of the history of the 1950s CBS News series “See It Now,” featuring Edward R. Mallow.
Her second place in the new studio is ABC News veteran and documentary Terrence Long, best known for the wall-to-wall documentary that shows how the hospital works.
Before taking over the news department, longtime “48-hour” producer Jillinsky said, “I want to make a little noise.” “I want to bring you things where you say,’Wow, I didn’t know that.’ I want to take you to places you couldn’t access.”
The studio’s first project, The 26th Street Garage: The FBI’s Untold Story of 9/11, premiered Thursday on a Paramount + streaming service narrated by Tom Serek, announcing the FBI’s abandonment of New York headquarters after the attack. Installed in a car garage store showing how it was forced.
