North Port, Florida (AP) — Authorities resumed a search for a marsh reserve near the boyfriend’s house on Tuesday seeking cross-examination for the death of 22-year-old Gabby Petit, whose body was found in Wyoming National Park. After the pair embarks on a cross-country road trip.

In Wyoming, the FBI announced on Sunday that an agent had found the body on the edge of Grand Teton National Park, where the couple visited. Details of the cause of death have not been announced. An autopsy was done on Tuesday.
“The full forensic identification to 100% confirm that we found Gabby has not been completed, but her family has been notified,” said FBI agent Charles Jones. ..
Laundry was nominated to be involved in the case, but his recent whereabouts were unknown.
Petito’s father, Joseph, posted an image of his injured heart on social media over his daughter’s photo, delivering the following message: “She touched the world.
At the “Dr. Phil” show on television on Monday, Joseph Petito said Laundrie and his daughter had been dating for two and a half years, and Laundrie “always respected.” In an interview recorded before the daughter’s body was discovered, Petite said the couple had previously traveled to California in her car and had no problems.

The FBI said investigators were seeking information from someone who had seen a couple around Grand Teton.
Gabby Petito and Laundrie were childhood lovers they met when they grew up on Long Island, New York. His parents later moved to Northport, about 35 miles (55 kilometers) south of Sarasota.
A man who saw Petit and Laundry fighting in Moab, Utah on August 12 called 911 to report a domestic violence incident, according to phone records obtained from the Grand County Sheriff’s Office. The man said he saw Laundry hitting Petit as he walked through the town and began beating her before the two boarded the van and got out of the car.
According to a video released by Moab police, police pulled the couple’s van the same day after speeding up near Arches National Park and being seen hitting a curb. The body camera footage showed an upset petite.

Laundry said in a video that the couple was involved in a brawl after he climbed the van with his dirty feet. He said he did not want to pursue accusations of domestic violence against Petit, who was determined by police to be an invader.
Moab police separated the couple that night, Laundry checked in at the motel, and Petit remained in the van.
In the footage, Gabby Petit cried when she and Laundry told officers they were discussing over-cleaning the van. She told executives that she had OCD — obsessive-compulsive disorder.
“Dr. Phil” and her father said it was literally not true. She said she liked to keep her living area tidy and used slang.
