Chicago (CBS) — Advocate Aurora Health has fired approximately 440 staff members who do not comply with the hospital system’s COVID-19 vaccination policy.
In a statement released Tuesday, the hospital system reported that 99 percent of its staff complies with the requirements for COVID-19 vaccination.

However, according to the hospital system, about 440 staff members (0.6% of employees, nearly half of whom are per diem employees) were out of compliance.

Therefore, those employees were dismissed.
