Bristol, Wisconsin (AP) —Kenosha County Security Officer’s agent shot and injured a man they said was driving a stolen vehicle related to the Chicago murder, officials said Thursday. ..

A representative was dispatched to the Benson Corners gas station in Bristol to locate the stolen vehicle around 11:30 am on Thursday.

The vehicle was located and an agent attempted to contact the driver, who was the only occupant. According to the sheriff’s deputy, the man escaped from the car and shot a police dog working to arrest him.

A statement from the sheriff’s department said the agent shot the suspect who was taken to a local hospital. The man has not been identified. And authorities haven’t said what the murder in Chicago looks like.

The Sheriff’s Department commissioned the Racine County Sheriff’s Office to investigate the shooting.
