Hollywood Boulevard Saturday Shutdown by Police Shooting After Stab-Deadline

One of Los Angeles’ busiest tourist destinations was closed and shot on Saturday after a crazy man stabbed a woman and then refused police orders.

The shooting was done nearby Hollywood & Highland Hosted many award shows in Los Angeles on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The incident occurred around 11:00 am, when the stabbed victim approached a police officer and brought them back to a man accused of stabbing.

Police said the man ignored the order to drop the knife and began to approach them. “Several bean bag rounds were deployed” before the man was shot with a bullet.

When the shot rang, tourists scrambled in a busy area. The Hollywood & Highland area was closed for hours while the investigation continued.

Both the stabbed victim and the man shot by the police were hospitalized as of Saturday night.
