Lake Forest-One of the players excited about Bears and fans returning to the field in 2021 was the only player to opt out of the 2020 season.
However, on Monday before the season opener, a knee problem occurred against middle guard Eddie Goldman, who was unable to participate in the contest. He wasn’t healthy enough to get on the field, despite actually playing many times over the next two weeks.
But by attending the last two exercises of the week, he’s completely out of reporting injuries and ready to go to Lions on Sunday, so the fourth week is finally a lineman’s attraction.
It would be a very much appreciated addition to the line of defense as Goldman had a great deal of internal influence to relieve pressure from Akiem Hicks and external linebackers. Sunday will be the first match against the Goldman Bears against the Chiefs since the 16th week of the 2019 season.
He missed the season finale with the Vikings and missed the entire 2020 season.
GIPSON OUT AGAIN
Unfortunately for defense, they cannot help but start strong security for the second straight week.
The hamstring injury that actually suffered during the Browns week will keep Tashaun Gipson on the sidelines against this week’s Lions. Deon Bush takes his place in the starting lineup, as he did in Cleveland in the third week.
He finished last week with 6 tackles and a pass breakup.
This Week’s Statistics: 5-1
Nagy’s record for Lions in his career in Chicago, where he won his first five games against Detroit before losing 34-30 in Soldier Field last December.
