Joe Biden praises company for Covid-19 vaccine requirements – deadline

President Joe BidenIn a brief statement on the White House campus, he praised businesses and local governments for establishing vaccine requirements, but he nevertheless said, COVID-19 “Unacceptably high” shots.

“From nearly 100 million in July, the number of unvaccinated people has dropped to 66 million, but it’s still unacceptably high,” Biden said in a South Court auditorium.

“It’s not time to give up. There’s still a lot to do. We’re in a very critical time as we’re working around the corners of Covid 19,” he said.

Mr Biden said the Ministry of Labor will soon issue a rule requiring companies with more than 100 employees to establish vaccine requirements. Companies need to have their employees prove that they are vaccinated in order to be tested weekly. The White House has announced a previously proposed policy, but it has not yet been developed as a regulation.

“Every day, we see companies enacting vaccination requirements. Increasing data shows that they are working,” Biden said of vaccination rates over the 90s. He said he had raised it to the labor force.

“Let’s be clear. Immunization requirements should not be another issue that separates us. That is why we continue to fight the false information that is there.”

He cited the case of Southwest Airlines, which opposed the allegation that vaccine obligations contributed to the flight turmoil earlier this week. Biden previously quoted The Walt Disney Co. and Netflix on vaccine requirements, emphasizing Fox News policy. But last week he identified Fox’s policy as requiring all employees to get the vaccine. However, it is Fox Corp.’s policy that employees report their status to the company or submit it to daily tests if they have not been vaccinated.

Biden said the Food and Drug Administration is reviewing data on Moderna and Johnson & Johnson boosters. If approved, it means that all three vaccines will be available for booster immunization.

He also said the FDA and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will decide in the coming weeks whether to vaccinate children ages 5-11. “We are ready,” Biden said.

Biden also advertised the progress of the fight against the Delta variant as cases and hospitalizations declined following the summer resurgence.
