Couple celebrates 50th wedding anniversary at Walt Disney World

Orlando, Florida –Suzanne and David Switzer went to Disney Park, as far as I can remember. They currently live in South Carolina, but try to go to the park at least once a month.

“I went to Disneyland as a kid in 1955, and that was the year it was opened, and something like that made me crazy about Disney,” said Sae Yamamoto, who also had her husband. Says, David got hooked on Disney’s magic after they were married.

This year, Sae Yamamoto and David celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary and Walt Disney World’s own 50th wedding anniversary. The park has decades of special memories for a couple whose six children actually grew up in the park.

“Every two or three years, there was someone who had a new experience,” he has no choice but to lovingly look back at all the wonderful memories he and his family had at Disney. “It’s very special to look back on memories,” adds Sae Yamamoto.

Today, Sae Yamamoto and David don’t have to take their kids to Disney for fun, they often take pictures and meet their favorite characters. They plan to renew their pledge at the Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, the same place where they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in 1995.

Disney is the parent company of Localish.
