Missing suspect sentenced to life imprisonment for Rockford rapper’s 2019 murder

Rockford, Illinois (WTVO) – William Alzate, 24, was sentenced to spend the rest of his life in jail after killing a Rockford rapper in 2019.

According to a Winnebago County lawyer, Arazte, along with two other men, reportedly beat William Pickering on May 25, 2019. Pickering’s body was found a month later in a field in Winnebago County.

Arzazte did not knowingly appear in both his trial and judgment because it was carried out in his absence. He is currently required to have a good no-bond bench warrant for not appearing in court and an original warrant for witness harassment.

Information about Arzate’s whereabouts must be provided to the Rockford City Police Department or the Rockford Regional Crime Stopper.
