WR Cooper Cup. Rams’ top wide receivers rarely enjoy more than going home and playing big matches with the teams he saw and grew up with. A former star in eastern Washington has 29 career receptions and two touchdowns to the Seattle Seahawks. Kup soon formed a bond with QB Matthew Stafford, leading the NFL with five TD catches.
Seahawks players see
RB Chris Carson. It’s hard to understand Carson’s season so far. He has rushed at least 80 yards twice. He has been detained at 30 and 31 yards in the other two games. He has never carried the ball more than 16 times in the game, but he has played solidly on average 4.3 yards in a single attempt. In five career games with Rams, Carson rushes at least 69 yards each and has two 100-yard games. This seems like a week to increase his workload.
Key match
DK Metcalf vs. Jaylen Ramsey is always a must-see match. Seattle’s huge reception target for Rams’ lockdown cornerbacks makes it a great theater. The Metcalf suffered from a foot problem that occurred last week, with only four catches on the 49ers’ eight targets.
Major injuries
Seattle’s defensive line can be slender, as Darrell Taylor (ankle), Benson Mayowa (neck), and Carlos Dunlap (toe) are all uncertain due to injury. The Seahawks have worked more with the five defensive linemen, but may lack the depth to do so against the Rams.
