Chicago (CBS) — The FBI is seeking help in identifying a series of bank robbers called “bicycle thieves” who have used their bicycles to escape from the scene of four stagnations since July.

According to the FBI, the first robbery occurred on July 27, around 4:30 pm, at 4334 S. Kedzie Av in the Brighton Park Community Bank. The robber wore a white mask, a checkered button-down shirt, light-colored trousers, and dark shoes.

At 2:45 pm on August 2, the man tried to rob the Byline Bank at 1947 W. 35th St., wearing dark sunglasses, a white mask and a red shirt.

Around 3:40 pm on August 13, a man was 2869 S. Archer Av. Robbed the Royal Bank in and wore a dark mask, checkered button-down shirt, dark trousers, and dark shoes.

After 4 pm on September 17, the man robbed the Royal Bank at 1823 W. 47th St., wearing a dark mask, a blue button-down shirt, dark trousers, and dark shoes.

With each robbery, the man ran away from the scene by bicycle.

The FBI has released a surveillance image of a “bicycle thief” and is offering a $ 1,000 bounty for information that could lead to arrest.

The FBI said he was armed and should be considered dangerous.
