Chicago — The Chicago Public Health Service has removed Arkansas from the weekly COVID-19 Travel Recommendations on Tuesday. Advisories are located in 40 states and one region.
Alabama, Mississippi, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Virginia are all eligible to lift travel recommendations next week with a daily COVID case rate of less than 15 per 100,000 population.
The state will be removed from travel recommendations if it maintains a daily case rate of less than 15 per 100,000 inhabitants for two consecutive weeks.
As of Tuesday, all states or territories have received recommendations except Arkansas, Connecticut, DC, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maryland, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Texas, and the Virgin Islands.
