State-wide: What shaped Lincoln’s view of race?

As Lincoln’s birthday approaches, we hear from the author of a new book investigating the relationships and acquaintances that ultimately led to the liberation. Some of them happened here in Illinois before Lincoln set foot in the White House.

We will also deliver a conversation with a new US lawyer in Central Illinois. He was the first black man to hold that position.
