Lamar Jackson in Ravens is inactive due to illness

The latest information from the 11th week of the NFL (always EST):

12:30 pm

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will not face the Chicago Bears on Sunday due to illness.

He is not the only quarterback declared inactive in early games. Jared Goff of Detroit will not play against the Cleveland Browns due to a diagonal injury.

Jackson’s illness clearly means Tyler Huntley starts for Chicago against Ravens. Tim Boyle puts out a Goff to make Lions’ first NFL start.

Goff was injured in Thailand with the Pittsburgh Steelers last week and didn’t practice this week. His status remains uncertain during the Thanksgiving match against Chicago on Thursday.

Boyle, 27, has spent the last three seasons as the second quarterback of Green Bay after Aaron Rodgers. He had a solid training camp in Detroit, but he had a broken thumb, had surgery, and was on the disabled list until Friday.
