Las Vegas-Raiders wide receiver Henry Lux III faces drunk driving after a severe vehicle accident in Las Vegas early Tuesday killing a woman and injuring Ragus and her passengers. Authorities said.

According to police, Las was driving a Chevrolet Corvette shortly before 3:40 am and collided behind the Toyota Rav4 on a busy road in a residential area a few miles west of the Las Vegas Strip.

Police said Toyota ignited and the driver died. She was not immediately identified.

In a statement, police said 22-year-old Ragus “died after being charged with drunk driving.”

Rag and his female passenger were hospitalized. Authorities explained that rug injuries were not life-threatening. Female passengers were not immediately identified.

No immediate claim was made.

Ruggs lawyer David Chesnoff and Clark County District lawyer Steve Wolfson said they were aware of the crash. They declined immediate comment on the details.

Police closed the road in the morning to investigate the clash, and Wolfson said he was being briefed on the ongoing investigation.

Ragus was born in Montgomery, Alabama and played college football in Alabama.

He was ranked 12th in Las Vegas in the 2020 NFL Draft and played 13 games in 2020.

He has won 24 passes this season, including two touchdowns at the Raiders.

The Raiders say goodbye this season 5-2, a week before Sunday’s match at the New York Giants.
