Deadline has launched Contenders Film: International’s standalone streaming site. The site features 26 panels from Saturday’s all-day virtual showcase of major titles that participated in the international feature-length Oscar race. Javier Bardem, Noomi Rapace, Asghar Farhadi, Dan Stevens, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Agaterussel and others will appear in this year’s panel lineup, discussing their lively projects as the film award season heats up.

Stars and filmmakers represented a wide range of international products featuring Mubi. Unleash your fist (Russia) and Great freedom (Austria); Kino Rover’s Luz (Malta), Hive (Kosovo), Casablanca beat (Morocco) Brighton 4th (Georgia); Aurum film Leave no trace (Poland); Sideshow and Janus Films Please drive in my car (Japan); Cohen Media Group Let’s do it in the morning (Israel) and Good boss (Spain); Netflix God’s hand (Italy) and Prayer to the stolen person (Mexico); on Bleecker Street I am your man (Germany); Sony Pictures Classics Compartment No.6 (Finland); Amazon Studios Hero (Iran); Welgo Entertainment Escape from Mogadishu (Korea); A24 Lamb (Iceland); and neon Titanium (France) and Mourning (Columbia).
For other participating companies, Focus Media Tereza27 (Croatia), of lemming film Don’t hesitate (Netherlands), Sense Production’s oasis (Serbia), Corinthian movie Drunk bird (Canada), Lucky Man Films’ The Potech (Czech Republic), Rowdy Pictures’ Pebbles (India) and Black Spark Film’s Tigers (Sweden).
Deadline’s Contenders offering continues on Tuesday, with the launch of the Contenders Film: Documentary streaming site, followed by a face-to-face Contenders Film: New York on December 4th at the Moving Image Museum in Queens, NY.
