Earlier this week A 9 year old boy was the latest victim, Was trampled after his dad died. Headliner Scott’s performance was the 10th and youngest to die in a tragedy that flooded the stage with a large number of fans.
Others who died ranged from 14 to 27 years old. About 300 people were treated at the festival venue and 13 were hospitalized.
After the incident, Scott issued a statement stating that he was “absolutely overwhelmed” by what happened at the concert.
“My prayers are directed to my family and all those affected by what happened at Astroworld Festival,” he said.
He also said the Houston Police Department has his “full support”.
Scott and the organizers of the event are currently the focus of criminal investigations.
