Skeleton of a new dinosaur species found in Missouri

NS. Louis (KTVI) – Scientists have found dinosaur bones in Missouri, And it is a new genus that has never been discovered.

Paleontologist Guy Darrough discovered the skeleton of a juvenile Palosaurus, Missouri, in Shawmy. Certain locations of the findings are kept secret until the site is protected.

“I can’t imagine anything more impressive than what I found here. A new genus of species. Its world-famous discovery,” Darrow said.

Astonishing 25-30 feet long duckling dinosaur debris has not been found anywhere else in the United States. When Darrow found the skeleton of a young dinosaur, he carried it to the Sainte Genevieve Museum Learning Center. Then he called the Chicago Field Museum on Big News.

“I finally talked to Pete McCovicky, a dinosaur curator at the Field Museum,” Darrow said. “He came down and looked and said,’Yeah, you got a dinosaur.'”

Shortly after Makovicky and his team began digging Missouri, they found an adult Pachycephalosaurus Missouriensis right next to the boy.

Makovicky, a professor of global environmental science at the University of Minnesota, said:

Mako Vicky said he dug up dinosaurs around the world. However, he calls the Missouri site one of the most unique. He believes that other dinosaurs are likely to be found there.

The discovery has a history of 80 years. The original owner of the property discovered the bones in the 1940s. The bone was sent to the Smithsonian and later confirmed to belong to a dinosaur, but nothing was developed.
