Residents and protesters have filed proceedings against the event’s white supremacist organizer.
Defendants allege that plaintiffs have not proved that they have organized racial violence.
Participants in the rally chanted the Nazi slogan “Blood and Soil.” When asked about the incident, then President Donald Trump said he was responsible for “both sides,” adding that some of the people who attended the rally were “very good people.”
The jury will resume deliberations on Monday.
