Three injured in shooting at East Garfield Park

Chicago — Three people were injured in a shooting at East Garfield Park.

Chicago Police Department said three men were shot dead at 3800 blocks on West Ferdinand Street around 11:50 am on Saturday. All three were standing outside when they heard the gunshot and felt pain.

A 22-year-old man was shot in the face and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he stabilized.

A 19-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he stabilized.

A third man, 24, was shot in the chest and taken to Stroger Hospital in crisis.

No one has been detained. Area 4 detectives are under investigation.
