Cook County, Illinois (WGN) – The video was taken on Tuesday of a tractor trailer parked sideways on an Illinois highway.
Wild footage captured by Nexstar’s affiliate WGN was recorded by another driver near the Tri-State Tollway on the outskirts of Chicago.
In the video, you can see the smoke coming out as the black sedan tires slide sideways over the pavement. The semi-trailer seems to be catching up with the traffic flow without any problems.
In the middle of the video, you can see the driver in the waves of the sedan heading towards the camera.
Police responded to the incident shortly after 11:40 am near Mile Marker 30 on I-294.
Illinois police said no injuries were reported. Police investigated and found that the two lanes were closed for about 15 minutes.
It was unknown at the time of issuance whether charges related to the case would be incurred.
