Martin The surviving cast of Lawrence and his hit comedy series Martin We will meet again in 30 years as part of the BET + Reunion Special hosted by Afion Crockett. The taping will take place on February 20th and the specials will air later this year.

For the announced participants, Tisha Campbell, Tichina Arnold When Karl-Anthony Payne II. Thomas Mikal Ford, who played Martin’s best friend Tommy in the series, died in 2016 at the age of 52.
“It’s really a blessing to be able to sit here with this amazing cast that had such an impact on pop culture 30 years later,” Lawrence said. “I’m always humbled that fans still want more of the show and its characters. I’m looking forward to the reunion special.”
BET + is also teasing the participation of “surprise guests”, and streamers certainly have a wide range of well-known series of guest performers. The reunion is executive produced by Lawrence, Robert Lawrence, Ray Proctor and Stacy Lyles through his company, Lan Tel Dat Entertainment. At Jessi Collins Entertainment, Jessi Collins and Dionne Harmon are executive producers alongside showrunner Jeanne Luzan Clay.
The show is executive produced by Stan Rasan. The special was written by Nile Evans and Bentley Kyle Evans, who is also Executive Producer. Jessi Collins Entertainment’s Brittany Brazil is a producer.
All five Martin seasons are now available for streaming via BET +.
