Ty Gibbs is undoubtedly stepping into the top ride with NASCAR’s second-tier Xfinity series. Joe Gibbs, the grandson of professional football and inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame, is affectionately called a coach, but this season, No. 54 Race full time for his grandfather’s team at Toyota.
The car won 10 times in 2021, four of which were in the hands of Gibbs. Kyle Busch (5) and Christopher Bell (1) also drove it into the winning lane.
