Indianapolis (AP) — Indiana Pacers exchanged two All-Star Domantas Sabonis for Sacramento Kings on Tuesday in a six-player deal. This person knows directly the details confirmed by the Associated Press.

Sacramento has sent Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson to the Pacers, the person told AP.

Kings will earn an average of 18.9 points, 12.1 rebounds and 5.0 assists Sabonis per game, in addition to Justin Holiday, Jeremy Lamb and the second round draft topic. He leads the Pacers in all three categories.

This is the second major deal Indiana has made within a week. The Pacers also sent Caris LeVert to the Cleveland Cavaliers for three draft topics, including an injured Ricky Rubio and a selection of the first round protected by this summer’s lottery. Rubio has already been excluded for the rest of the season and has a contract that expires.

Sabonis and Indiana shot blockers Myles Turner have been speculation of trade rumors for weeks.

Indiana appears to be reorganizing after the Pacers remained near the bottom of the Eastern Conference rankings due to a roster that was severely depleted by the injury and a COVID-19 issue. The move may also help the Pacers become a bigger free agent player next summer.

Halliburton averages 14.3 points and 7.4 assists, scoring 1.7 steals in 6th place in the league. He is also 11th in assist. Hield is third in the NBA with three points this season, and Thompson needs to meet his internal needs with the Pacers scrambling after play due to an injury.

Meanwhile, Kings has scored two more scorers on Holiday and Lamb, as well as Sabonis, who has been a double-double machine in the last few seasons. Holidays average 11.0 points, while Lamb averages 7.1 points when getting off the bench this season. Ram also has an expired contract.
