Franklin, Indiana-A man was injured after a small plane crashing at a private airport in southern Indianapolis.
The single-engine aircraft crashed on the Franklin Flying Field near Franklin on Monday afternoon.
Johnson County Sheriff Duane E. Burgess told WISH-TV that he helped firefighters release the pilot from the plane.
He was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Indianapolis.
