Danville, Illinois (Wand)-According to police, a man who approached a former girlfriend and shot her at the Wal-Mart parking lot in Danville was arrested.
Police were called by Wal-Mart on Thursday at 4100 blocks on N. Vermilion Street around 7:30 pm.
A woman was shot in the torso and hips.
When the victim faced former boyfriend Tilton’s 23-year-old Francis Brisco III, she told police she was in the parking lot.
She told the police that he had begun to argue with her, and when she got into her car and tried to leave, he shot her twice with a pistol.
Police said Brisco had escaped from the scene with a pickup truck.
Victims were taken to a local hospital for wound healing. She is stable.
According to police, Brisco crouched at 10 pm on Sunday night.
He has been charged with attempted murder, a deteriorating battery with firearms, a deteriorating household battery, and possession of a felony firearm. His deposit is set at $ 1 million.
He has been held in Vermilion County Jail and is awaiting prosecution.
