Chicago (WLS)-Tuesday afternoon, a storm can blow through the Chicago area, causing strong winds and hail.

It was quiet on Tuesday morning, but the humidity was high and the wind was strong.

The storm began to move to southern Wisconsin and the far north suburbs after 1 pm.

NS Severe thunderstorm warning Valid until 2:15 pm in McHenry County and Lake (Illinois) County.

The southern counties of Wisconsin, including Kenosha and Milwaukee, Severe thunderstorm warning Until 6 pm

There is also Severe thunderstorm warning Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, LaSalle, Lake, McHenry and Will counties in Illinois, Benton, Jasper, Lake, Newton and Porter counties until 9 pm

Strong winds are the main threat, but the possibility of hail cannot be ruled out, said ABC7 meteorologist Tracy Butler.The tornado threat is fairly low, but not zero, she added.
