(NEXSTAR) – The “Family Guy” character is appearing in a new public service advertisement promoting COVID vaccination.
The short animation begins with Peter Griffin, the patriarch of “Family Guy” in the clinic, and discusses whether to take a COVID shot. Stewie and Brian then teleport into the body to explain how the vaccine works when floating in plaque-filled arteries.
Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy, spoke to all four characters of Dr. Hartmann, who manages Peter, Stewi, Brian, and Peter’s shots, and the show’s writing team is a science expert and epidemiologist. I worked with others to provide accurate information.
