McDonald’s plans to “significantly” reduce the plastic of Happy Meal toys around the world by 2025.

The company, which sells more than a billion toys each year, says it will reduce the use of virgin plastics by 90% with a new goal.

The hamburger giant said Tuesday that he was working with a toy company to develop new ideas such as a three-dimensional cardboard superhero that kids could make. McDonald’s said it is also considering building new restaurant trays using recycled plastic toys.

The company has already made changes in the UK and Ireland, selling only stuffed animals and books at Happy Meal.
