Crestwood, Illinois — Lou Presta will resign as Mayor of Crestwood on Thursday night at the Community Village Board of Directors.
But the 71-year-old hasn’t gone far.
Crestwood’s board was able to vote to make Presta a full-time economic director, even if his federal bribery case passed the court. Chicago Tribune Report.. The newspaper adds that Presta has resigned due to health issues rather than his ongoing federal prosecution.
