Champaign, Illinois (Wand)-A nine-year-old boy was injured when a shooting broke out between two car-riding people in Champaign on Monday.
According to police, around 3:39 pm on Monday, N. We received reports of people shooting two vehicles at each other in the 2000 block of MarketSt. About 20 shootouts have been exchanged.
The injured boy was in an unrelated car. It’s unclear if he was scratched by a gunshot or because the glass shattered when the car was struck.
