Skyguard Courtney Vandersloo has been named to All-WNBA’s second team

Chicago – Whenever she decides to leave the game, Courtney Vandersloo will be one of the greatest players ever in a Chicago Sky uniform.

The 2021 season has only been added to it, including another choice for the All-WNBA team on Friday.

Vandersroot was named the second team in the league this afternoon. This is when the guards receive the third honor. She was also elected to the team in 2015 and 2018 and the first team in 2019 and 2020.

Vandersloo led the WNBA assist with 8.6 for the fifth consecutive year, averaging 10.5 points per game in the regular season. Her play improved only while Sky was in the WNBA Finals. She averages 14.5 points and has won 9.6 assists in eight playoff contests.

Vandersroot arguably performed best in the playoffs of Game 2 overtime to Mercury on Wednesday. She scored 20 points and gave 14 assists.

Vandersloo, the first round draft topic of 2011, will be on the floor tonight as the team plays Game 3 of the WNBA Finals with Phoenix in front of a crowd sold out at Wintrust Arena.
