Paris (AP) — Stella McCartney’s virus-aware show was shown to some of the regular Parisian audience. But it didn’t undermine that energy or the draw of celebrities.
Paul McCartney surprised his designer daughter behind the scenes in a crowd of guests, including Demi Moore and Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris. They told the Associated Press about her environmental issues.
The highlights of Monday’s Spring 2022 collection are:
Stella McCartney used the idea of a brave survivor of nature, the mushroom, to point out the environment. It was also the starting point for the looks of countless hallucinogens.
One of the best collections of the season, this collection was ripe with energy and vibrant design.
The mushroom theme was creatively adopted: a light organdy-featured vegetable print, along with a palette of natural light colors mixed with soil browns. The house said that sustainable leather bags are also made from mycelium, a fungal material that breaks down organic matter.
But the best part of the display came when McCartney deviated from this vegetable theme. The judo belt fluttered around loose white trousers, like sports piping borrowed from an astronaut’s cool tube.
The finale of the collection blossomed with the looks of a “magic mushroom”. A psychedelic pattern with 70’s shades and a cut-away top that adheres to the skin. A catsuit that shines like a shiny slug path left in the forest at dawn.
British-American designers avoided the usual Opera Garnier setting during this pandemic season with Espace Niemeyer, a landmark modernist architecture designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer.
Celebrities flocked to a strange oval room, and journalists met the designer through a meandering corridor.

Demi Moore was there with her daughter, 30-year-old Scout Willis, in a net jumpsuit.
The late King of Pop’s daughter, Paris Jackson, was also there. She told AP that she loves McCartney and other designers who put the environment at the center of their work.
23-year-old Jackson said he thought the hallucinatory part of the show wasn’t the most important.
“It’s not trippy, it’s about saving a very powerful planet,” she said.
Jackson praised McCartney as a pioneer in promoting animal rights, abuse-free fashion, and alternatives to plastic and non-animal-based leather.
Jackson also said she praised the eco-friendly Vivienne Westwood for attending the show she attended because she was “a punk of the heart.”
Givenchy nous necklace
The silver necklace on display at Givenchy’s Sunday night show, which appears to have a broken rope, has been criticized online for beautifying suicide.
Designer Matthew M. Williams’ debut catwalk show model wore accessories.
Fashion industry watchdog Diet Prada pointed out the similarities between necklaces and the controversial Burberry hoodie. Burberry’s hoodie has a hanging rope for fall / winter 2019 and was apologized by CEO Marco Gobetti.
Diet Prada states on Instagram of Givenchy’s items: “I think the industry has learned not to put anything like a rope around the model’s neck.”
Givenchy did not respond to AP’s request for comment.
