Chicago (WLS)-Father Pfleger, along with the Saint Sabina religious community, is giving out free coats to adults and children on Saturdays.

Those coats are just in time for the coming cold weather.

The ongoing cold explosion is just the beginning of Chicago. As a result, the Church of St. Sabina set foot on Saturday before it got worse outside.

Pfleger said about 500 free coats will be distributed.Men, women and children can appear at 11am

Pfleger said it’s easy to forget that wearing a coat is a luxury that many people don’t have.

The event will start on Saturday around 11:00 am on 78th Avenue.
