Monster Mash: Proceed without a Mac

Lake Forest – The Bears were afraid because of the weeks and weeks of foot injuries.

There was hope that after a few weeks of vacation, Khalil Mack would be able to recover and return to the lineup to help the defense return later in the season. But hopes for 2021 have officially disappeared on Friday when an outside linebacker was operated on and announced that he would miss the rest of the year.

Bears need to move on without the best defensive players in the last eight games of the year. This is a blow given that Mac had 6 bags this season and looked like his old self. Instead, the unit looks to backups to keep the rest of the year in check.

It was part of this week’s “Monsters Mash” from Larry Harley on the “9 Yard Line” prior to the Bears match against Baltimore. He also featured two of Justin Fields’ best-ever games in his career and how it helped build trust among his recipients.

You can see them all in the video above.
