Wilson also makes a cameo in the movie to support the hero’s stance.

The trailer for “National Champions” will be released on Tuesday and the movie will be released on December 10. Director Ric Roman Waugh said Wilson played an important role in presenting the story from the perspective of a student athlete.

“I knew I was crazy about the game, but I’m ridiculously crazy about it,” he said. “So I want to play for over 20 years. I think the other part you learn about yourself is to have patience.
