According to testimony, Rosenbaum, 36, was unarmed and did not hurt anyone that night. During the clash with the Rittenhouse, Rosenbaum threw a clear plastic hospital bag given to hold the toiletries.
Rosenbaum’s fiancé testified that he had told him not to go downtown Kenosha due to anxiety hours before he was killed.
“When he left, he said he would meet me in the morning, and he was all excited and’I love you.’ It was a fun visit,” Swat said.
After receiving a call from a coroner that Rosenbaum had died, Swat knelt down and cried, finding a video online showing that he was dead. “
In the morning, Mr Swat said he went to the scene of a car dealership lying on the ground after Rosenbaum was shot. “And I put my hand in it, and my hand was wet with his blood, and that was when I fell to the ground.”
The killing of Rosenbaum emerged as one of the most important moments of the night. It caused bloodshed that followed the moment.
Rittenhouse shot and killed Hoover, a 26-year-old protester seen in a video of a bystander hitting Rittenhouse on a skateboard. The Rittenhaus then injured Gaiji Grosskreutz, 27, who was holding a gun while walking towards the Rittenhaus.
