LaPorte County, Indiana (WLS)-Police said a driver died in a weather-related car-semi-truck crash in northwestern Indiana Tuesday afternoon.

The accident occurred on the US20 highway in LaPorte County, Indiana, around noon on Tuesday. The Crown Victoria driver began to slide on a snow-covered road and collided with a semi-truck trailer. Another car that could not avoid the accident collided with the driver’s side. The Crown Victoria driver died in a crash.

Police released an image of a vehicle destroyed in a collision on Wednesday.

Police did not provide further information about the incident.
